Cosmetology - the art and science of beautifying and improving the nails, skin and hair. The study of work ethics, varied chemical services and small business is also part of the curriculum. Beginning their ninth week of training, students will step into the Beauty Lab, a fully functioning, full-service salon, where they showcase and refine their skills as emerging salon professionals. Internship - each student can participate in an internship program in conjunction with the district’s most successful salons . Various Job Titles - stylist, haircolor specialist, esthetician, makeup artist, nail technician, manicurist, pedicurist, salon manager, salon owner, product educator, cosmetic chemist, artistic director, platform artist, writer, state board member Admission Requirements All COSM courses require pre-approval by the Cosmetology
