Engineering
The Associate in Engineering Science (AES) degree is designed to provide the first two years of study toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering at a four-year college or university. The curriculum has been developed in cooperation with engineering programs at transfer institutions including Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Missouri University of Science and Technology, and Greenville University. Students planning to transfer should meet with the engineering coordinator or an academic advisor at Kaskaskia College to create an academic plan tailored to their goals. Full-time students who begin the calculus sequence (starting with MATH 166) in their first semester can typically complete the AES in two years and a bachelor’s degree in engineering in
