Students who are accepted into the AAS Degree & Career and Technical Certificate Paramedicine (PARM) program are introduced to the role of the Paramedic and provided resources and instruction which when incorporated into the prehospital practice will result in safe and effective care being provided to patients in a variety of healthcare and emergency services settings. The PARM curriculum provides courses in Emergency Medical Services theory and practicum as well as support courses that contain content that students must learn to be successful on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic Certification Exams (NREMT).
