ENG218 — Advanced Academic Writing .(WI)

This course is designed for students who wish to gain advanced academic writing skills. The course will build on the research, critical thinking/analysis and writing develop these skills specifically related to their field of study. Students will be introduced to the research process, including how knowledge is produced, reviewed, and disseminated. Additionally, students will read, analyze and summarize scholarly sources for a variety of audiences and purposes. Students can expect to practice writing in common academic and non- academic genres, ranging from a literature review to fact sheets and infographics.

Prerequisites: ENG101, ENG102, ENG108, ENG109
