HIS 4100 — History Indigenous People US
This course examines the history of indigenous peoples from European contact to the present. Among the issues it addresses are: the diversity of indigenous cultures, U.S. government policy regarding indigenous people, political activism includingthe American Indian Movement and ongoing conflicts over land and sovereignty.
