MCF 4000 — Film: The Creative Medium
To recognize the film medium as a creative art, students are introduced to the key elements of cinematic form: narrative, mise-en-scè ne, cinematography, editing, sound, and acting. Key concepts are illustrated through the viewing and analysis of select short and feature-length films.
