SOC 3100 — Introduction to Sociology
An introduction to the scientific study of society and social interactions. This course covers social theories, methods, culture, deviance, social inequalities (including race, class, and gender) and social institutions (such as the family, education, and religion). Students learn to analyze, evaluate, and critique social structures and to understand social change.
