ADN 171 — Concepts of Nursing I
Emphasizes the nursing care of adult patients experiencing acute and chronic health alterations that require medical and/or surgical interventions. Includes applying clinical judgment and the nursing process to deliver patient-centered, compassionate, and ethical care across diverse populations. Emphasis is placed on the integration of health promotion, nutrition, pharmacologic and technological interventions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice to ensure quality and safe patient outcomes. Incorporates health information technologies, informatics, and quality improvement principles to enhance decision-making and support effective communication within the healthcare team.
