ADN 176 — Advanced Concepts in Mental Health Across the Continuum
Builds on the concepts of previous material, with an emphasis on the care of high risk mental health patients. Focuses on the provision of ethical/legal, safe, quality, evidence-based patient centered care of the patient with alterations in mental health. Emphasizes health promotion, prevention and condition management of common alterations seen in mental health patients. Provides the opportunity to apply concepts and demonstrate skills and care for patients in a supervised laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical setting.
