EMS 369 — Advanced EMT I
Introduces fundamental knowledge and skills required for advanced prehospital care. Emphasizes airway management, patient assessment, pharmacology, and pathophysiology as they relate to medical and trauma emergencies. Develops proficiency in performing advanced life support procedures and applying clinical reasoning within the scope of practice for the Advanced EMT as outlined by the National Emergency Medical Serivces Education standards.
