HCM 614 — Leadership in Hospitality
Examines the profound difference between management and leadership in the hotel industry. Utilizes case studies to explore power and empowerment, quality management, high-performance teams, ethics and various management philosophies. Requires utilization of competencies mastered in previous course work within the Hotel Management program as students participate in The Hotel at Kirkwood Center's Manager on Duty (MOD) program.
