EIS 215 — Lang Issues in GW
This course will familiarize students with the pivotal ways in which language influences and underlies important and often controversial policy issues in societies around the world. It zeroes in on the issues of languages and dialects in cross-cultural perspective; multilingualism, literacy, and education; and language choice and globalization.
