ELS 204 — Latin American Civilizations
This course deals with an in-depth study of the peoples and cultural institutions of Latin America through the examination of selected topics such as caudillismo, machismo, mestizaje, honor, slavery, and aboriginal traditions as reflected in different forms of literary and artistic expression.
