ENG 280 — Children's Literature I
This course familiarizes students with various types of children’s literature, including fairy tales, modern fantasy, picture books and realistic fiction. Students will examine the experience of the child and factors that may shape the child’s identity and values. Students will evaluate the literary standards and pluralistic character of the literature.Authors such as E.B. White, Lewis Carroll, Judy Blume, Mildred D.
