This course introduces students to the genres of creative writing such as poetry, fiction, plays, and/or creative nonfiction by using New York as a writer's laboratory.Field trips to city places such as museums, streets, parks will lead to writing that uses these places and the people. Students will write a variety of creative pieces dealingwith this glimpsed New York life.
