HTR 100 — Intro Rec Leisure
This course examines the definitions of leisure, recreation, and play. It provides an overview of the historical and theoretical development of leisure recreation and play from ancient civilization to modern/contemporary society. The course will explore socio-cultural implications of recreation and leisure, the current trends, and the relationship between the leisure service field, programs, agencies, organizations, careers, and professional opportunities.
