HUA 145 — Studio Lighting I
This course introduces the students to studio photography. Professional equipment, including the 4 x 5 view camera, 35mm camera, and studio tungsten lighting, will be utilized. Basic studio lighting techniques will be addressed in "table-top" (still-life) situations. Most assignments will be in black & white; students' ability to produce commercial quality black & white negatives and prints will be emphasized.
