HUN 189 — NMT Urban Studies
This course analyzes the various cultural, historical, ethnic, class and artistic dimensions of the urban environment through the lens of new media technologies. Students will create geo-tagged maps combining their own personal narrative of the city with the historical narrative of the city. Particular attention is given to current and historical phenomena, from gentrification and tracking, to artificial intelligence and online reviews.
