HUN 212 — Photography in New York
This course will provide participants with a rich visual understanding of the art photography world in NYC as well as a deepened understanding of photography in contemporary art. Utilizing the vast cultural photographic resources of NYC, this class aims to enrich, engage, and critically examine the multidimensional world of fine art photography. Students will visit, discuss, and write about photographic exhibits in museums and galleries. They will also visit contemporary photographic artist studios and get the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the artists.
