HUT 111 — Acting II
This course explores the theory and practice of acting as an art form through the study of scene preparation and character analysis. Study scenes will be taken from comedy, farce, contemporary and classical drama, offering practice in a variety of acting styles. The spatial characteristics of the stage, rehearsal techniques and the use of props and costumes will be examined. In addition to texts and plays, students will be required to buy a basic stage make-up kit.
