HUX 102 — Basics of Digital Audio
This course will enhance students' knowledge of digital audio. Algorithms for multiple files such as .WAV, .MP3, .AIFF and .OMF would be examined to understand the differences between them, both in quality and function. The behavior of audio in the digital world is the main focus, with students being taught the benefits and limitations of using a digital system. Metadata and file storage will also be addressed.
