This course is intended to give the student a core understanding of the musicbusiness, including music ownership, licensing, marketing, performance, andartist management. The student will gain a basic understanding of businesspractices and language, and how they apply to the new digital-era music businessmodels. In-depth marketing plan, artist management and music label contracts willprepare students to realize their creative goals.
