LBN 105 — Infocity
The course explores how information is produced, organized, and distributed in the United States. Students learn research methods through the examination of New York City and federal data. Students learn to find, evaluate, and document text and multimedia for problem solving, inquiry and analysis. The class studies the socioeconomic, political, ethical and legal issues of information production, distribution, and usage in the United States, supported by field trips to government facilities.CUNY Pathways: Flexible Core-Individual & Society
