This course introduces the most recent NYS paramedic curriculum and reflectsthe changes recommended in the National Paramedic Standards. Topics includeECG Review, Junctional Rhythms, Heart Blocks, Ventricular Rhythms,Management of Symptomatic Bradycardia and Tachycardias, TroubleshootingPacemakers, Pulmonary and Cardiac Assessment and Management Scenarios,Defibrillation, 12-Lead ECG, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Cardiac andNeurologic Emergencies.
