SCL 102 — Intro To Prac. Nurs
This course is designed to familiarize the student with an overview of the history of nursing, communication principles, medical terminology and cultural concepts as they relate to understanding clients across the life span. The scope of practice of the Practical Nurse in a variety of health care settings will be defined and explored. Students will be exposed to computer assisted instruction (CAI) and Internet research methods as integral adjuncts to the teaching/learning process.
