SSY 230 — Abnormal Psychology
This course introduces the major categories of psychological disorders and the diagnostic systems, DSM-V and the ICD-10. Disorders covered are psychotic, mood, anxiety, personality disorders and child and adolescent disorders. Theoretical and treatment perspectives will be examined focusing on inquiry and problem solving so to enhance scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills.CUNY Pathways: Flexible Core-Scientific World
