Diesel Technology • Brandt Holdings Option
Lake Area Tech is partnering with Brandt Holdings in a cooperative, two-year, dealer sponsored program called TechKnowledge. This option is a two-year Student Technician Training Program that is fully accredited by the AED Foundation and leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree at Lake Area Technical College. The Lake Area Tech Diesel program works in close partnership with the sponsoring John Deere dealerships to administer the program’s activities and ensure the training is focused on the most current technology, equipment, and tools. Students selected by this program may have the opportunity for full-time employment with the dealership upon successful completion of the program. Brandt Holdings dealerships involved include Kibble Equipment, Platte Valley Equipment, and Valley Plains Equipment.
