PHYS 2425 — University Physics I

This is a detailed, calculus-based study of the fundamental laws and theories of physics. Topics covered include atomic structure; linear, circular, and simple harmonic motion; forces; Newton’s Laws; energy; and thermal concepts. Fall. Prerequisites: 12th grade reading level and eligibility for ENGL 1301 and MATH 1314 . Corequisite: MATH 2413 or approval of the instructor.
