BAS340 — PreGED/GED Reading
This Career Pathways class for high intermediate readers is to prepare students to take GED Preparation classes. Reading activities offered in this classroom will help students increase vocabulary, comprehension, analysis, inference, and critical thinking skills. Students will read passages and gain some critical background knowlege in science, social studies, and literature. Exposure will also be given reading tables, charts, and graphs. All activities should have a workforce focus or application, which is communicated to the student.
