BAS410C — ABE/GED Prep
This Adult Basic Education and GED Preparation class is designed for students who are lacking in basic skills. In the reading component word recognition, structural analysis, vocabulary, and main ideas are stressed. The writing component includes sentence and paragraph structure and application of basic grammar rules. Computation and mathematical applications of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals are taught. Geometric algebraic concepts are incorporated into the curriculum. An additional component of this course will focus on transition skills giving students the tools they need to move into the workforce or post-secondary education.
