BAS416 — Mathematics for the GED
This course concentrates on the math reasoning and problem solving skills necessary for students to answer word problems as found on the General Education Development test. Math skills covered include usina a calculator, estimating, reading word problems, making computations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percent, reading maps, charts and tables, using equations and proportions to answer questions, solving geometry and algeabra word problems; and learning test taking tips for the GED.
