This course is designed to teach skills in the areas of English usage, and writing; reading comprehension, especially in the reading of life skills materials, and literature ( both adult and children); and mathematics, including life skills areas as budgeting and consumerism, as well as math skills needed to be successful taking the official GED exam such as fractions, percents, and geometry. The course will address issues relevant to successful parenting and ways to positively interact with teaching one's own children. Courses are open enrollment. Section hours may vary.
