BAS437 — Fast Track GED
GED preparation instruction includes reading comprehension; science/social studies specific vocabulary and concepts; the 5 paragraph essay, and grammar/style conventions. The math portion of the class will review basic math computation, including fractions, decimals, and percents. Other math topics include measurement, ratio, proportion, probability, mean, mode, range, and using tables, charts, and graphs. Basic geometric concepts will be taught: perimeter, area, volume, Pythagorean theorem, angles, etc. Basic algebra concepts will be introduced, including solving for an unknown and x,y coordinate planes.
