Foundations of English for NNS is an integrated multi-skills course combining reading, writing, speaking, and listening for students. The course focus is developing English language skills for both social and academic communication. Oral activities stress understanding basic conversations, responding to questions, and expressing ideas and feelings. Reading development emphasizes word decoding skills and reading comprehension.
