BAS544 — Advanced Skills / ELL
This class focuses on the advanced reading, writing, and speaking skills that English language learners need at home, at work, and in the community. Topics include health, shopping, education, banking, work readiness, and community issues. Students will gain fluency in tasks such as talking on the telephone, writing letters, completing forms, asking for or giving information, and conversing with native English speakers. The class is open to students who have completed Foundation of English as a Second Language or who pretest at this level. Call 610-799-1955 for more information. Financial assistance is available.
