BAS820 — Career Pathways Financial Lit
This Career Pathways class will offer students exposure to content in the topic of financial literacy and practice math skills in real world contexts. This class may include the money management/budgeting, planning for higher education, understanding paystubs, reading fine print, identity theft, opening a bank account, balancing a checkbook, and other topics as fit student need. Speakers from local financial institutions, financial aid department, and consumer science organizations will be invited to speak to the class. Students may visit destinations like local stores, banks, or financial aid department.
