BSN408 — Start and Manage a Business
Students will receive classroom training (lecture) that will cover these topics: Business Start-Up Plan; Marketing, including Execution of Marketing Plan; Pricing; Selling; Advertising; Insurance Issues; Cash Flow and Financial Projections; Crediting Counseling; Legal Issues/Professional Services; Financial Record Keeping and Taxes. The Small Business Development Center will provide 15 hours of individual counseling for each student. Classroom training on QuickBooks will also be provided to incorporate usage of this computerized Accounting Software.
