This interactive course is designed to provide employees with the tools necessary to conduct a Development Discussion with their boss to proactively manage their own career. Participants clarify their own goals, values, and needs and examine how their goals, values, and needs intersect with the company's mission, goals, and values. Where the two paths inersect is the "success connection." A compentency checklist is used to identify talents, skill gaps, development needs, and important job characteristics based on the participant's perception and their boss' perception.
