It is a widely held belief that people learn best by DOING. This interactive seminar emphasizes how to incorporate this belief into training efforts. Attendees are taught the most effective ways of obtaining on-going participation, sequencing activities to retain interest, blending styles to keep presentations dynamic, opening stategically to capture audiences, and ending presentations to assure maximum understanding. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the theory behind adult training; apply four steps for improving instruction; develope skills in promoting active learning. Instruction is accomplished through case study, lecture, demonstration, experiential activity and a high level of class participation.
