Educational Theories of DevelopmentThis workshop will provide an in depth exploration of key theorists influential in the early childhood education field today. Erickson's Theory of Social Emotional Development, Jean Piaget's Stages of Cognitive Development, Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development, and Urie Brofenbrenner's Bioecological model will be discussed through hands on, minds constructivist teaching practices.
