Using Documentation for Child Abuse Suspicions and Looking at Self-ConceptIn this workshop students will explore key indicators of abuse which can be recognized in authentic observation tools. Using this information students will discuss the teacher's responsibilities for recognition, documenting, and reporting child abuse and maltreatment. Teaching strategies to support children in developing self concept will be discussed as well as supporting special populations in developing self-esteem.
