Returning Adult Students- Cross the Bridge to LCCCAre you restarting your education and want to brush up on your skills? If so, the Returning Adult summer program is for you. This program is an innovative and unique program which supports developmental students as they transition to their post- secondary academic endeavors. After feedback from faculty, advising, educationall support services, and other college departments, we have identified four key areas which will assist in the transition to college course work- academic skills in reading and writing; computer skills; planning and prioritizing skills; and study skills.The Cross the Bridge to LCCC program will address these skills using an integrated format which will conclude Stephen Covey's e- book and phone app, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students. The bridge will give you the jump start you need to make a smooth transition back to school. Note that for enrollment in this class, individuals must already be accepted into LCCC and have taken the COMPASS placement exam.
