Attention High School Seniors- Turn It Up! Have you just graduated from high school and are starting ath LCCC in the fall? If so, get a head start on your college career by coming to our week long summer bridge program. This is an innovative and unique program which supports developmental students as they transition to their post secondary academic career. After feedback from faculty, advising, educational support services, and other college departments, we have identified four areas where skill development will be beneficial. These areas are academic skills in reading and writing; computer skills; planning and prioritizing skills, and study skills.The Turn it Up program will address these issues using an integrated and interactive format which will include Stephen Covey's e-book and phone app, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students". This program will give you a jump start with your first year of college. For enrollment in this program, students must already be accepted to LCCC and have taken the COMPASS exam.
