CAR412 — Deputy Coroner Develop Series
This 24 hour workshop series will be practical and will use adult active learning techniques. Target participants experience very challenging conditions in which to provide their expert services. On occasion, they are outdoors, on the scene of a death. Often, they are interfacing directly with family and loved ones to whom the death is tragic. Self management and emotional intelligence are required to perform the Deputy Coroner role effiectively. The facilitator will work with the Coroner to identify key technical content areas and the checklist steps for death investigation. To be effective, participants must apply high level influencing, communication and negotiation skills while also acting on the basis of sound scientific investigation principles.
