CAR434 — Pipeline Inspection Certificat
This training covers the basics of radiation safety for industrial radiography that meets the requirements of 10 CFR 34.43 (g) and prepares the attendee for Industrial Radiographer certification (ASNT-IRRSP-1A). This course is required to work for NDT pipeline inspection companies where radioactive materials are used for inspection. Training includes practical sessions for survey instrument calibration, operation of exposure devices, conducting surveys, set-up of controlled areas, leak testing, daily inspections performed by radiography personnel and formal maintenance requirements.In addition, attendees are entered into our nationwide, one-of-a-kind program, benefitting from the following: job placement assistance, study guide and preparatory for a state or ASNT IRRSP examination, study materials for various NDT methods, mentoring from people working or managing in the NDT industry, mentoring towards Level II status.
