CAR518 — Teaching Bio-Ethics

0 credits · 15 hours

Research has shown that students relate better to content presented in a form of moral and ethical dilemmas rather than as facts. The concept of dilemmas implies that in a democratic society there is one answer-only the interplay of various interests. This seminar in bio-ethics utilizes this unique approach to introduce faculty to role-playing activities they can use to enhance the learning experience for students. Weekends are included to provide time to complete assignments and quizzes. Submissions required by 11 p.m. on Sunday. 15 hours of Act 48 Professional Education
