CAR914 — Touch/Health (Kinesiology I)
Touch for Health is a synthesis of kineseology and accupressure along with meridian tracing. This course helps point out source of pain and the responsible muscles. You'll learn the relationship of Chinese principles of muscle strength and organ function, along with the anatomy and physiology of 14 muscles. You'll learn simple tests for allergies and nutritional deficiencies. Four hours of the second class will be devoted to foot reflexology with touch for health practices. The information covered in this class is critical training for working with other professionals. The instructor is a certified "touch for health" instructor and nationally certified massage practitioner. This class is continuing education credit for massage therapy in A.M.T.A. and the National certification Board, and continuing education for RN and LPN. There will be a one hour break for lunch each day. (Textbooks are $35 and are purchased, directly from the instructor.) Senior citizen waiver does not apply.
