CAR916 — Intro to CranioSacral Therapy
This two day workshop is open to healthcare professionals of all disciplines. Participants will learn the benefits of the therapy along with a number of techniques they can use to relieve headaches, reduce stress, control pain, and promote relaxation. Developed by John E. Upledger, DO, OMM, CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method that works through the craniosacral system to enhance the body's natural healing processes. The workshop offers 12 contact hours, and is presented through lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice.12 CEUs will be awarded by the Upledger Institute, Inc., for certified individuals, including NCTMB and PA Physical Therapists. A BU certificate of completion will be awarded to non-professionals. The Upledger Institute will award 12 credits for this class. There will be a one hour break each day for lunch. (Textbooks are $35 and are purchased directly from the instructor.) Senior citizen waiver does not apply.
