The Green Energy Center, a partnership between Lehigh Carbon Community College and AFC First Financial, will offer Resnet National Rater Certification Training. RESNET- The Resdential Energy Services Network is a not-for-profit national standards making body for building energy efficiency rating systems. The Green Energy Training Center's approved six day training course is designed to help you successfully pass a multiple choice open book test. The RESNET National Rater Test questions are divided into the key categories of building science and home energy ratings. This program complies with requirements to prepare participants to successfully pass the RESNET National Rater Test. RESNET has adopted the Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards. These standards set the national procedures for home energy ratings. Testing will be administered on last day of each session. The RESNET National Rater Test is an on-line 50 question true or false and multiple choice open book test. Raters have two hours to complete the test with a passing score of 80% or better. Please bring a laptop to complete software models in class.Fee: $1575, state tuition rebate of $500 for PA based contractors through Keystone HELP Program on successful completion of course.
