CAR925 — BPI-Building Envelope Pro Trn
The BPI Envelope certification in conjunction with the Building Analyst certification will make your company eligible to apply for Accreditation. If your firm is accredited or considering accreditation, you must have at least one employee with the envelope certification if you wish to perform insulation and air sealing work. This workshop is the next step for those already Building Analyst certified by BPI.Training Objectives• Understand relationship between building envelope systems and other systems of the building• Learn techniques for improving efficiency and durability of the building envelope in existingbuildings• Become familiar with best practices for envelope improvements including duct blasting,series leakage testing, infrared imaging, insulation installation, ventilation & CAZ testing• Prepare for BPI Building Envelope Professional written and field testing to acquirecertificationIn addition to class time, Field Testing is to be scheduled in 2 hour appointments during the week of September 27-28, 2010. This class is offered in partnership with AFC First and will be held at the Green Energy Center located at 1005 Brookside Road, Allentown, PA 18106.
